FROM BRIEF TO JOINING

Our Process

An expanded look at how a Workflect search runs end to end — what happens at each stage, and what clients and candidates can expect along the way.

01

Define the Requirement

Align on Oracle specialism, responsibilities, business priorities, location and compensation.

For clients

The search begins with a detailed brief: the Oracle specialism or sales function, responsibilities, business priorities, location, compensation range and the profile that would genuinely succeed in the role.

Commercial terms and the success condition are agreed in writing at this stage, so there are no surprises later — engagement is success-based, with fees payable only when a candidate joins.

For candidates

You will be asked about your product experience, current engagement, notice period and expectations before anything is shared — matching is deliberate, not mass circulation of profiles.

02

Map & Engage Talent

Identify and approach professionals through targeted sourcing and ecosystem talent mapping.

For clients

Rather than relying on syndicated job boards, Narayan sources directly within the Oracle ecosystem — mapping professionals by product depth, project background and career trajectory to your specific requirement.

You receive an explanation of the market landscape for your role: where relevant talent sits, what realistic expectations look like and how the shortlist is being built.

For candidates

If your background fits a live search, you will hear about the opportunity directly — with an honest picture of the role, the team and the business before you decide whether to proceed.

03

Assess & Shortlist

Discuss fit and expectations, share relevant profiles and coordinate interviews and feedback.

For clients

Profiles are shared only after a first conversation confirms fit — relevant, assessed shortlists rather than long unfiltered lists. Interview coordination and feedback loops are handled for you.

You get structured feedback after every interview round, so decisions move quickly and candidates stay engaged rather than going quiet mid-process.

For candidates

You are briefed on the role, the interview panel and what each round is looking for before you speak to anyone, and you receive feedback after every stage — including when the answer is no.

04

Select, Offer & Join

Support offer discussions and maintain communication through the candidate's joining.

For clients

Offer discussions are supported from both sides — expectations, notice periods and counter-offer risks are surfaced early so the offer lands the first time.

Communication continues through the notice period and beyond the joining date, because a placement is only a success once the candidate has started and settled.

For candidates

You are supported through offer negotiation, resignation and your notice period — with a direct line to Narayan for any question that comes up between accepting and starting.

How Success-Based Engagement Works

Workflect works on success-based contingent recruitment for permanent positions, with terms agreed before any search begins.

Engagement starts with a written agreement on the role, the commercial terms and the success condition. There is no cost to begin a search — fees become payable only when a candidate Workflect introduced accepts your offer and joins.

Because the practice is founder-led, Narayan personally runs every stage of the process above, from the initial brief to post-joining follow-up. You always know who is accountable for your search.

For candidates, the model is equally straightforward: Workflect never charges candidates a fee. Representation, introductions and offer support are provided at no cost, and your details are shared with employers only with your consent.
